Security Of Lives And Properties Is My Number One Priority – Newly Elected Otolo PG

The newly elected President General of Obiuno Community, Otolo Nnewi, Mr. Dinka Nwanya has stated that his number one priority is to make sure that the lives and properties of his people are well secured and adequately protected, especially at this point in time when unknown gunmen and Fulani Herdsmen are on rampage, penetrating every nook and cranny of the land.

He made this clear shortly after he was sworn in as the new President General of the Community recently.

According to him “From all intents and purposes, the Fulani people are simply out to wipe us out. Look at how they go about on a killing spree every day.

“We are going to secure ourselves. The major reason I came out is because of the Security situation so that I can gather my brothers that are strong for us to tackle the security problem. I am looking for people that will come out and use the strong heart of young men to combat the security situation.

Apart from Security, I will also make sure, I impact positively on the lives of my people. We are going to initiate a number of Empowerment Scheme that will benefit my people, both old and young. The way my people voted overwhelming for me is quite remarkable and I wish to reciprocate such a kind gesture”.

In his comment, the Vice-Chairman, Mr. Sunday Louis Ogbu, prayed that they perform more than expected and that with the help of God there won’t be any problem He promised that the security system will be more powerful than before, because they are the number one Community in Nnewi. He promised not to go against the PG as according to him, the PG is his Mentor, saying that God will help them to do the work together and successfully.
