Onyemelukwe Urge Ndi-Anambra To Exercise Their Political Rights

A Frontline Governorship Aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Barr. (Mrs) Chidi Onyemelukwe Nee Ekwueme who is married in Nnewichi, Nnewi North LGA of Anambra State, has advised Anambrarians to come out in full force and exercise their political franchise during the forthcoming Anambra Governorship election.

She warned against being swayed by political money bags and politicians without plans for the masses. Speaking in a brief interview with Journalists at the residence of the late Dr. B.U.C. Aghazu where she went to pay her last respect to the foremost Engineer and successful Entrepreneur, Barr. Onyemelukwe who is the daughter of the former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, said:”All powers belong to God. What each and every one of us who is contesting should understand is that we should see what we doing as a sacrifice. We are stepping out of our comfort zones to do what God wants us to do, not for our own betterment, but for the betterment of the masses”.

Continuing, she said: “What we are praying for really is for God’s Will to be done, it’s not about an individual. As the Bible says: “The race is not to the swift and the battle is not to the strong”. Let God have mercy on Anambra State and place that man or woman of his choice on that seat.A man or woman of impact who will be there to serve God and the masses.”.

On her message to the electorates, she offered: “We need to go out and exercise that power that God has given us and make the difference.It is not about money politics. It is important for our people to understand that the decision you make today will determine the outcome of your future. Make sure you exercise that decision wisely and be properly guided by God.”
