Uruagu PG Election: Organizer Oil CEO, Igwe Abba, Eloka Ikeh Square Up For Battle

After months of prolonged crisis on the modalities for the election of the new President-General (PG) of Uruagu Nnewi Community, following the expiration of the Hon. Charlie Nwoye, the election has finally been scheduled for today, Saturday, 22nd May, 2021.

Although the issue of the legality of the scheduled election is still in court, Chief Innocent Okoli (Organizer Oil and Gas), Engr. Eloka Ikeh and Hon. Engr. Jude Onyediaka Nwachukwu (Igwe Abba) are already making last-minute efforts to emerge as the new President-General of Uruagu Nnewi.

The election which is seen as the battle of economic Interest and a preparation for Nnewi North State Constituency, 2023 elections, the election will be a fierce battle between the trio.

From opinion poll, the contest is between the Chief Executive Officer of Organizer Oil and Gas, Chief Innocent Okoli, and Engr. Jude Onyediaka Nwachukwu (Igwe Abba Nigeria). While Chief Innocent Okoli is believed to have been prevailed upon by some stakeholders to contest is seen as the favorite, Engr. Jude Onyediaka Nwachukwu (Igwe Abba Nigeria) appeals more to the young people due to his age and ideas.
