Some gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have snatched the wife of a youth leader of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Salawu Areokuta in Oyo State.
Newsmen gathered on Monday that Mrs Arikeade Oni-Salawu was kidnapped on Sunday at the gate of her residence in Ibadan, at about 10pm.
Newsmen gathered that Oni-Salawu, who was returning from work, alighted from her workplace ambulance to open the gate when armed men emerged and took her away.
The incident occurred at Aromolaran area, old Ife Road in Ibadan, newsmen gathered.
Newsmen gathered that the whereabouts of the victim has not been ascertained as at the time of filing this report on Monday.

Publicity Secretary of APC, Dr. Abdulaziz Olatunde, confirmed the abduction to newsmen on Monday.
Olatunde told newsmen that the family of the victim is yet to be contacted.
“Yes. It is true. The wife of the APC youth leader was kidnapped. She was kidnapped yesterday night. Yes. The husband told us.
“The family has not been contacted.”
All efforts made by newsmen to get a reaction from the Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, Mr Adewale Osifeso proved abortive.
