Liverpool midfielder, Georginio Wijnaldum, is set to sign a three-year contract with Barcelona.
The Netherlands midfielder’s agent, Humphry Nijman, was pictured by Spanish TV station, El Chiringuito TV, leaving the Nou Camp offices on Tuesday morning.
The 30-year-old will leave Liverpool at the end of his contract this summer.
Respected transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano also tweeted the news that Wijnaldum will be moving to Barcelona, saying German champions Bayern Munich are not in the race for the player.
Romano wrote on Twitter: “Gini Wijnaldum is set to join Barcelona as a free agent until June 2024 – there’s nothing agreed with FC Bayern, he wants to sign for Barca. Last details and… here we go soon!”

Wijnaldum played his final game for Liverpool in their 2-0 victory against Crystal Palace on Sunday at Anfield on the final day of the Premier League season.
The player was given a hero’s send-off after playing vital parts in the Reds’ Champions League and Premier League success in recent seasons.
