Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, warned that Nigeria’s existence is under threat with the rising spate of insecurity in the country. He stated this while speaking at the Special Summit on National Security organised by the Special Committee of the House of Representatives on National Security.

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has announced the appointment of former Governor, Dr. Ikedi Ohakim and four others as members of the burial committee for late Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu. The Late Admiral Kanu who was a one-time Military Administrator of old Imo State, died January 13, 2021. He was a member of the defunct Supreme Military Council of Nigeria.

The former governor of Cross River, Donald Duke, on Wednesday returned to the Peoples Democratic Party. The statement was disclosed by Effiok Cobham, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Caretaker Committee in Cross River State.
