The development is coming amidst a sit-at-home order declared in all six states of the South East region by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The sit-at-home order was declared to mark the Biafra Remembrance Day which is usually observed every May 30 to show respect to the people that died during the Nigerian Civil War that ended on June 30, 1967.
