On Thursday 3rd June 2021, The ruling party (APC) All Progressives Congress said plans to bring the government of President Muhammadu Buhari will fail.
Senator John James Akpanudoedehe, The Secretary of the APC caretaker/extraordinary convention planning committee, while speaking at the party national secretariat said some people are planning to bring down Buhari’s government.
Akpanudoedehe noted that people planning to bring down the government would be arrested and brought to justice.
“President Muhammadu Buhari will be judged by security and other achievements. We should not analyze the achievements of this government based on blackmail.

“Those who are trying to take down President Muhammadu Buhari’s government through the backdoor, till not succeed.
“They are hipping up so that people will believe there is insecurity. They are organized to bring down the government of the APC. We will bring them to book, Insha Allah,” he said.
This is coming after Buhari said individuals after his administration will be shocked as his government will do everything in its power to make sure that they fail.

Buhari stated this after meeting with the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mahmood Yakubu; and other electoral commissioners over the recent attacks on the commission’s facilities.
