The menace of unknown gunmen that has become, nearly, a daily occurrence in towns and cities across the Southeast has reached Nnewi. Nnewi has been largely spared of the nefarious activities of these unknown gunmen but this looked to be over this evening.

At least one person is feared dead following sporadic shooting from suspected hoodlums at Orji Flyover in Owerri, Imo state. A resident of the area told this website that the hoodlums came in a bus and started shooting around the flyover.
