Anambra Lawmaker, Hon. Nonso Okafor, has submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the 2021 Gubernatorial election.
The Governorship Aspirant who was in the National Secretariat of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), in Abuja, today, Tuesday, June 8th, 2021, submitted the forms in the company of some of his supporters.
Speaking after submitting the forms, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor expressed his readiness for the party primaries, noting that he is satisfied with the guideline of the party so far.
He said that his submission of the forms demonstrates the fact that he is ready for the party primary where he believes that authentic members of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State will get to decide who will fly the party’s flag in the November 6th governorship election.According to him, people should perish the thought that the Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano has a preferred aspirant, noting that those banking on that fallacy to win the election, will be shocked on June 23rd.
Nonso Smart Okafor who is the only APGA aspirant to have toured the entire local government, said that he is convinced that if the primary election is conducted in a manner that is free and fair, he is confident of victory.
The Lawmaker, who is the youngest of all the APGA aspirants, will be facing the screening panel later in the week.
