Dutch professional footballer, Georginio Gregion Emile Wijnaldum, better known as Georginio Wijnaldum has shunned Spanish football club, FC Bareclona to join Paris Saint-Germain.

The former Liverpool FC midfielder has been linked with a move to Barcelona at the end of the summer as the Netherland international is not ready to extend his stay at Anfield.

Reports emerging on Tuesday confirmed that the 30-year-old player has agreed to sign a three year contract with PSG who finished second in Ligue 1 last season, rather than join the Catalans. Wijnaldum had won several trophies with Liverpool during his stay with the club and as well helped the Reds clinge third position on the English Premier League table in the last competition.
