A Frontline Governorship Aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and former Chairman of Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State, Chief (Hon.) Rommy Okoli ( Akajiugo Ukpor, Ozioma Nnewi) has chided Aspirants from other Senatorial Districts who are bent on contesting the forthcoming Governorship election.
Addressing a full House of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Anambra State Chapter (Comprising of Traditional Rulers, The Clergy, Presidents General of Town Unions, Political Stakeholders and other Interest Groups) during a One Day Interactive Summit to affirm their resolve for Anambra South to produce the next Governor of Anambra State,Hon. Rommy Okoli called for a political sanction for such Individuals.
In his words:”Anyone that is contesting the Governorship from another zone, either from North or Central is an enemy of this State. And that person does not want the peace, unity, and tranquility of Anambra State. And I am very bold to say it here that such a person should be thoroughly dealt with as a leprous, canterkerous and infectious human being”.
He recalled that the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has thrown his weight behind the zoning system and that all the Aspirants of the All Progressives Grand Alliance are from Anambra South.
He, therefore, called on Anambrarians to close ranks and make sure only those coming from Anambra South are supported.

Earlier in his opening remark, the Vice Chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Damian Okeke Ogene pointed out that, Mr Peter Obi from Anambra Central who initiated the zoning formular served for 8years and handed over to the Incumbent
Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, from Anambra North who is presently completing his 8years and that it is only logical for the remaining zone which is Anambra South to take her turn in order to complete the circle for it to go round again, all for the purpose of justice, equity and fair play.
