Shehu Sani, Former Kaduna central senator, has warned Nigerian Senators and House of Reps members to avoid any scheme to amend the Nigerian Press council bill.
On Friday morning, Sani issued the warning via a statement on his social media page. He disclosed that any attempt to do that will be synonymous with building a ‘Tyrannical monster’ that will eventually consume the entire government.
In his words: “If the Senate and the House of reps agree to amend the Nigerian Press Council Bill that makes it impossible for the media to hold the Government to account.”
