On Tuesday 22nd June 2021, The Senate lobby of the Nigerian National Assembly was flooded with rainwater.

Cleaners battled to evacuate rainwater that had flooded the area from a leak in the building’s roof.

Ananedoonline.ng gathered that Senate president, Ahmed Lawan had to hold plenary under the rather shocking situation.

Some Senators were shocked as they stood watching the cleaners struggle to remove the water, wondering why the building’s roof would be leaking.
