IPOB Are ‘Tsunami Wind’ That Will Blow You Away – Ohanaeze Tells South-East Govs

The youth wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Ohanaeze Youth Council, OYC, has lambasted the South-East Governors for disowning the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Governors in the Southeastern part of Nigeria, under the umbrella of South East Governors’ Forum on Saturday June 19 declared that IPOB members are not speaking for the entire region on the call for secession.

Chairman South-East Governors Forum and Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief David Umahi, made the declaration shortl after the meeting in Enugu.

Reacting to the governors declaration, the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to OYC National President, Chukwuemeka Chimerue, accused the governors of being blind to the reality of Igbos.

The OYC national president, Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka stated that Biafra agitators are ‘tsunami wind’ that will blow and cause South-East governors to summersault beyond recognition.

He noted that “It’s obvious that Southeast governors and stakeholders have lost sense of reality on ground as regards the quest for self-determination by many pro-Biafra groups.

“Let the world understand and know the truth that Southeast governors and stakeholders are the remote cause of any perceived violence by self-determination groups in Igbo land, that is why all the self-determination groups are headed by Ndigbo, this implies that Ndigbo are in lack of credible leaders and denied of justice in Nigeria.
