The All Progressives Congress (APC) has set up a Primary Election Appeal Committee ahead of the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State. National Secretary APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Senator John James Akpanudoedehe, made this known in a statement made available to Naija News on Monday.

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, has revealed why he rejected the emergence of Senator Andy Uba as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the coming November 6 election. Anaedoonline.ng earlier reported that Uba was declared winner of the Anambra governorship primary of the APC held on Saturday.

On Monday, 28th June 2021, Nnamdi Kanu, The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, disclosed that the group and its security outfit of the group, Eastern Security Network does not patronize native doctors. The IPOB leader stated this while reacting to a statement released by the police that ESN members killed a native doctor preparing charms for them in Awommama, Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State.

Unknown gunmen have attacked Alhaji Bayo Fulani of Ga- Fulani, Ora-Igbomina area of Ifedayo in Osun State and abducted his daughter in the process. Anaedoonline.ng gathered that the incident occurred on Sunday night when the assailants invaded the resident.

The National Association of University Students (NAUS) has called on the Inspection General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba, to immediately withdraw police operatives attached to dignitaries across the country and redeploy them to various institutions of learning to protect the lives of students.
