Armed policemen on Wednesday dispersed supporters of Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho, who staged a protest in Ibadan against his arrest. It was gathered that the armed policemen had taken over the place which the protester had converged around 3.30 pm.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has expressed regrets over Simon Ekpa, a stout follower of the group’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu, for his ‘refusal to follow the laid down rules of operation in Radio Biafra’. Anaedoonline.ng recalls that Ekpa, who is believed to be based in Finland, announced about one week ago that rearrested Kanu sanctioned him to commence broadcast on Radio Biafra, a widely-followed pirate radio. He described the development as “a call to serve”.

Dr. Danjuma Barde, The traditional ruler of Chikun in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, is dead. Anaedoonline.ng gathered that the prominent monarch died in the early hours of Wednesday after battling an undisclosed ailment.

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has admonished the Muslim community in the state to be resourceful and contribute to the peace and economic growth of the state. Umahi made the commendation on Wednesday in Abakaliki when a delegation of the Muslim faithful in the state paid him an Eid-el-Kabirhomage at the Government House.
