Sit-At-Home: ‘It’s Time For Synergy’ – Ohanaeze Reacts As IPOB Lifts Order

Apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has expressed delight over the lifting of every Monday sit-at-home order earlier imposed by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Anaedoonline.ng had reported that the IPOB made the fresh announcement on Saturday morning.

In a statement by Ohanaeze Secretary-General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro he said it was now time for Ndigbo to forge ahead in unity.

“Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide applauds the Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB) for listening to the wise counsels and surrendering to the will of the people and towing to the path of honour by calling off the sit-at-home,” Isiguzoro said in the statement.

He added that, “this adjustment must follow up with consultations with all stakeholders, especially the Governors and Igbo leaders.

“There must be synergy between all Igbo stakeholders to ensure that our adversaries do not pick up our missteps for their gains.

“IPOB should consider the welfare of Ndigbo in any proclamation.”
