He is from Ozubulu
Zubby Michael hails from Ozubulu, a cool town in Ekwusigo Local Government. Ozubulu is so close to Nnewi it is not a fallacy (although some would disagree) to call it a sister-town to Nnewi. For instance, FC Ifeanyi Ubah’s Stadium in Nnewi overflowed into Ozubulu.

He was born in Adamawa State
Zubby Michael was birthed on the 1st day of February in the year 1985 as Azubuike Michael Egwu. He was born in Yola, Adamawa, where he was raised. He got his elementary primary education and his secondary school education in Yola, Adamawa State capital where he obtained (FSLC) First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) respectively.
Upon completion of his early primary and secondary school education, Zubby Michael progressed to obtain his first degree at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Anambra State, Nigeria where he passed out with a degree from the Department of Mass Communication.
He is currently 36 years of age.
He joined Nollywood in 2006
Zubby Michael began his acting journey at a very tender age, he was barely 8 years old when acted at a children’s stage drama in his elementary school days. He always performed as a criminal, fighter, military man, and other action roles.
In the year 2006, Zubby Michael became part of the Nigerian movie industry where he acted and in no distance time, he became well-known in Nollywood and in the entertainment world. His first ever movie role was in the movie titled “Missing Rib”, he became known after he acted in a movie titled “The Three Widows” where he performed alongside Oge Okoye (a popular Nigerian actress).

In the year 2006, Zubby Michael grew to a higher fame level after featuring in a major blockbuster movie of the season titled “The Generals” also in the movie “Royal Storm” where he performed alongside Uche Jumbo, Junior Pope Odonwodo, Sylvester Madu, and Jim Iyke.
Perhaps, it was the popular movie “Eze Ndi Ara” which grew into some kind of franchise that cemented his name in the folklore of Nollywood.
Zubby Micheal has proved himself a successful Actor as he has won several awards to himself, In the year 2010, he was given an award as the Most Promising Actor, the 2010 award was presented to him by “the Africa Movie Academy Awards”.

In 2019 Zubby was appointed a Special Adviser (SA) to the Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano on media.
He dated P-Square’s Sister
Zubby Micheal was in a relationship with P square’s younger sister named Mary Okoye. The two were said to have met at Mike Eziruonye’s traditional marriage ceremony. Unfortunately, they later broke up with reasons best known to them.
However, sources revealed that Zubby Micheal broke up from the relationship because he was not ready to settle down for family life as he wanted to focus on his career path first.
