Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari will be exiting a 5-day isolation period as directed by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
President Buhari returned from the UK last week Friday after spending 18 days in the United Kingdom where he attended the Global Education Summit and also had a medical check-up.
The President self-isolated as a precautionary measure required of all international travelers arriving in the country in case they had been exposed to COVID-19.
His media aide, Garba Shehu disclosed: “The President is truly isolating as required following international travel. During this period, which ends on Wednesday (tomorrow), he will be attending to urgent and critical documents.”
“It is important to note that all documents coming to Mr. President are screened and sanitized with specialized equipment before and after they reached him.”
