A Nigerian man who taught himself how to make drones has been flown abroad for immediate employment by a company in Finland.

The man identified as Ignatius Asabor is a self-taught Nigerian engineer who build drones for agriculture. He was flown to Finland and offered immediate employment by a foreign company that saw and appreciated his talent.

Ignatius, who makes special drones using local materials, was flown to Finland by the company who also employed him.

Breaking the news on Linkedin, the Managing Director of the Finland-based company, Mr. Ari Saartenoja expressed happiness at having Asabor work with his company.

Mr Ari shared a photo of Ignatius immediately after his arrival to Finland and wrote on LinkedIn: “Ignatius Asabor, young Nigerian drone talent has just arrived to Finland, Oulu.

Ignatius will strengthen Radai’s survey team in future and bring more international expertise in the field. Welcome Ignatius Asabor to Radai Team.” Ignatius also took to LinkedIn to share a photo taken at an airport in Finland upon his arrival and wrote: “Arrived in Oulu city.”
