Simon Ekpa, a self-styled disciple of Nnamdi Kanu on Biafra Restoration, has expressed his displeasure with “lies” told against him.

According to Ekpa, he never at any point demanded that Radio Biafra should be handed over to him. Radio Biafra, also known as Voice of Biafra, is a radio station that was founded by the sparsely-recognised government of the Republic of Biafra.

It is now operated by Nnamdi Kanu. It is believed to have its first transmission before the Nigeria-Biafra war, the radio station was instrumental in the broadcast of speeches and propaganda by Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu to the people of the Republic of Biafra.

Anaedoonline.ng understands that recently, there has been a squabble between Chika Edoziem, the Head of Directorate of State (HDOS) of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Ekpa. Their row is due to the operation of Radio Biafra, a broadcast station diaspora-based Ekpa says he is not desperate to broadcast on.

Furious Ekpa via his known Facebook page shared WhatsApp chat conversations he had with Edoziem.

“For those of you who need clarification, the lies told against me is that I demanded “Radio Biafra should be handed over to me” this is a deliberate falsehood against my person. Different lies has been told in different quarters as to why I am not on Radio Biafra. I am still mute,” Ekpa wrote on Monday.

“The only reason I will not go into details is because of this struggle and my promise to Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu that I will never disappoint him and Biafrans.

“For the last time, leave me alone and allow me to do my work for Biafra and IPOB, you do not know the task Onyendu gave me and I am not interfering in your leadership and position.
