One of the revered kings in Anambra State, the Traditional Ruler of Amawbia, His Royal Highness Igwe Chinyelu Nworah Molokwu the Okpaligwe of Amawbia is dead.
The sad event took place on the 29th of August 2021 and he has been buried on the 31st of August 2021 which was yesterday and now awaiting the final ofala festival which the preparation will start coming up soon.

Igwe Okpaligwe who is from Umueze village in Amawbia was coronated on the 31st of December 2020 after he was unanimously elected in 2019.
May God Almighty grant his family and the entire people of Amawbia the fortitude to bear this huge loss as this is a sad one for the entire of Anambra.
