In the days leading to September 3rd (which is World Ifeanyi Ubah’s Day), many looked forward to seeing this great one put up another elaborate commemoration not only for the fact that he turned 50, but because he is a man who loves to blow events out of proportion with his kindness and generosity. He toed an entirely different but special path this year.

It will be recalled that he once hosted a mind-blowing carnival-like party when he turned 40 in the year 2011. The heart-warming party, which was attended by high-ranked musicians, Actors and Actresses, and a host of other dignitaries, was on the lips of many for ages. Indeed, that was necessary as he did that to register his presence in the consciousness of his lovely compatriots.

The birth of a newborn comes with great joy and celebrations especially in Igbo Land, this was the scenario on the 3rd of September in the year 1971, a worthy son was born into the very respected family of Mr. and Mrs. Alphonsus Ubah in Aba town which is a top commercial in Abia State, South East Nigeria.

Barely did the earth know that a man that had been destined by the spirit divine to shape the works of men and to help lives in tremendous special ways had just been conceived.

As a young child driven with the will to achieve, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah self-compelled himself into searching for ways to accomplishing his mission in life. Though it was against the wishes of some people even his lovely parents who initially protested against his desires.

Not minding, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah left home to begin his journey to greatness in a rather unfamiliar way. Despite the many obstacles, he went over the storms endured waiting to reach his ” Promised Land” no matter what it takes.

He travelled to Lagos where he worked as an apprentice in an already established spare parts dealing company, extending it to tyre supplies, he began to gain more customers and fame (both within and outside the nation)

He was barely an apprentice but has driven many’s passion as everybody wanted to trade with him.  Even in the days that he was absent from business, they would wait for his return before they continue their transactions, What a nice Customer-Seller relationship!

The key factor Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah relied on was “Honesty and Integrity”, he looks beyond his peers and follows the path to gradual success, it may be right to call it ” an Honest but Fast Success”. He diversified to other countries, growing his business from strength to strength while accommodating the ever-growing trend in the technology world.

Today, everyone speaks of Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah. As a man born into poverty and overcame Poverty, he has continued to create strategical goals to eliminating poverty both in his hometown and across the nation (even beyond). His philanthropic Foundation has continued to assist widows, orphans, the homeless, youths, and the indigent people within and outside his jurisdiction.

Happy Golden Jubilee Birthday! To a high-spirited man, lovely father and husband, philanthropist, successful businessman, ardent politician, super billionaire, an achiever of uncommon, and the man of the people. If you ask him which title he would like to be associated with outside of his filial roles, he would pick the latter.
