Top Flyers Magazine, a monthly print notification with a heavy presence online and a strong bias for entrepreneurial, leadership, and social upliftment stories is set to reward a distinguished Nigerian with the award of Man of the year.
This is part of its 9th Edition of Top Flyers Magazine and International Award 2021, an “award and recognition of deserving individuals in Nigeria and beyond” who have made their marks in their chosen field of endeavour.
The four nominated persons for the Man of the Year Awards were Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President of Nigerian and the PDP presidential flagbearer to the 2019 elections; Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a two-time governor of Lagos State and national leader of the ruling APC; billionaire businessman and philanthropist, Arthur Eze; and Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, and one-time presidential candidate of the YPP, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu.
Professor Kingsley Moghalu emerged the winner.
Unlike most awards on leadership and influence, this one carries the distinction of being open to the general public. You could vote for your choice via SMS or Whatsapp text to the number 08020808671 and a majority of Nigerians chose Moghalu as their Man of the Year.
Other award recipients include Dr. Goodluck Jonathan the former president of Nigeria who bagged the African Democracy Icon of the Year, the Governor of Kano Abdullahi Ganduje bagged Governor of the Year, while Rivers State Governor was the Best Scored Governor of the Year, etc.
