In a last-minute move, the Anambra State deputy governor has defected to the All Progressive Congress party a few weeks to the state’s gubernatorial elections.
Dr. Nkem Okeke, Deputy Governor of Anambra State was on Wednesday received by President Muhammadu Buhari, together with APC Caretaker Committee Chairman and Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma.
This news might not come as a surprise to many, as rumors of the deputy governor abandoning his former party APGA made rounds earlier this week.
