2023 Presidency: APC Vows To Make Bola Tinubu Nigeria’s President

The All Progressive Congress, APC, Lagos Chapter Executives has vowed to work hard to ensure the party’s national leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emerges Nigeria’s president.

This was made known by the Organising Secretary of the party in Lagos, Comrade Ayodele Adewale.

He told Newsmen that the newly elected state executives of the party would do all the can to make Tinubu succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

According to Adewale, making Tinubu president is one of the objectives of the APC under the Chairmanship of Cornelius Ojelabi.

The former chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Adewale thanked the party leadership for believing in him.

He said: “I am more committed to working with the leadership of Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi as Chairman of APC Lagos State.

“We shall do far greater things for our Party, our dearest Lagos State, and country, Nigeria.

“We shall work hard to ensure that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu becomes the President of Nigeria on May 29, 2023.”

Similarly, a serving lawmaker has hinted on who should be the candidate of the APC.

According to Gbolahan Yishawu, certain stakeholders within the party want Bola Tinubu to emerge as the 2023 presidential candidate.

Yishawu who represents Eti-Osa II in the Lagos House of Assembly spoke against the backdrop of the recently held State Congress in Lagos State on Saturday, disclosed that they want Tinubu to emerge as the APC flag bearer.

He said Tinubu has demonstrated tremendous leadership abilities and has a lot of supporters rooting for him to officially declare his interest in the presidential race.
