La Liga: Barcelona Sacks Ronald Koeman As Manager

La Liga side, Barcelona have sacked their manager, Ronald Koeman, after the club was defeated by Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday.

Recall that Barcelona on Sunday was defeated by Real Madrid, which stirred speculation that he would be relieved of his duty at the club.

Barca has picked up just 15 points from 10 games in La Liga and has already lost twice in the group stage of this season’s Champions League.

They are ninth in La Liga, six points adrift of leaders Sevilla after losing at Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday.

Barcelona will now look to replace the Koeman as soon as possible.

However, former Barcelona midfielder, Xavi Hernandez, currently with Al Sadd in Qatar, stands a chance to take over.
