Anambra Decides: APGA Defeats Deputy Governor, Nkem Okeke In His Polling Unit

The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Nkem Okeke, who recently defected to the All Progressives Congress from the All Progressive Grand Alliance was on Saturday defeated at his polling unit in the ongoing governorship election.

Okeke who cast his vote at Umueze Awozu, Enugwu-Ukwu Ward 3, Polling Unit 005 had disclosed that he voted for the candidate of the APC.

The Governorship candidate of his party, Andy Uba was defeated by the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Charles Soludo at the polling unit.

Why Anambra Deputy Governor, Nkem Okeke Defected To APC – APGA

The Governorship candidate of APGA, Soludo had 82 votes to win the unit while Uba of the APC secured 61 votes.
