San Marino player, F. Fabbri contributed to England’s victory with an own goal while trying to salvage his team from more disappointment.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has expressed hope in Odion Ighalo to help the Nigerian team defeat Cape Verde Islands on Tuesday.

Anaedoonline.ng understands that Tuesday’s Final 2022 World Cup qualifying group match is a must-win for Rohr’s men.

The Eagles’ are currently leading Group C with 12 points, with Cape Verde two points behind in second place.

Speaking on Ighalo’s chances of playing the Tuesday match at a press conference on Monday, Rohr said: “In this department, Ighalo can help us very much. We have wonderful goalscorers, Osimhen, Kelechi who can score.

“I don’t know if he will start the game or not. We will make a decision after the training tomorrow morning but Ighalo will help us.”
