President Buhari To Visit Turkey After Numerous Trips In Three Months

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is set to embark on a trip to Turkey by December 2021.

According to a source that spoke with reporters on the development on Tuesday noted that the aides of the president have submitted their passports to process their visas for the trip.

The source said, “There is another trip to Turkey this December; all teams going with the President have already submitted their passports for visa processing.”

Buhari Junkets To Scotland, France, Return Date Unknown

President Buhari has come under heat at different times following his trip across the world, which some belief has hindered the President from paying attention to the situation of the country.

Recall that Buhari travelled to New York, US in September to participate in the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Buhari on October 3, took a trip to Ethiopia to attend the inauguration of the country’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed for a second five-year term in office.

The President on October 24 was in Saudi Arabia for an investment conference organised by the Future Investment Initiative Institute and lesser Hajj in Madinah and Makkah.

The Nigeria President two days after he returned to the country from Saudi Arabia travelled to Glasgow to participate in the 26th Conference of Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

MEETING: Buhari With Security Chiefs Ahead Of London Trip

Buhari on November 13 left Paris, the French capital for Durban, South Africa and returned to Nigeria on November 16, 2021.

There are indications that the President would embark on another trip outside the country before the year ends.
