EPL: Mancini Reacts Over Report On Becoming Man United Permanent Manager

Italian professional football manager, Roberto Mancini has faulted claims that he has agreed terms with Manchester United to become their next permanent manager after Ralf Rangnick.

Anaedoonline.ng understands that the English Premier League club is currently in dire need of a permanent manager following Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s departure.

Top club managers, including Mancini, have been linked with the Man United job.

Recall that the Red Devils brought in Rangnick as an interim coach and his spell at the Old Trafford dugout is just for six months.

Speaking, however, on the claims that he had agreed to manage the English club, Mancini told Gazzetta dello Sport that it was all false reports.

The 57-year-old tactics maintained that his only focus is on next year’s World Cup in Qatar. Mancini said: “A verbal agreement with a Premier League club? All false.

“My only goal is to get to the World Cup and be able to win it.”

It could be recalled that Mancini was with Manchester City in 2012, and the sportsman helped the club to their first English Premier League that year.
