Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has named three favourite clubs to win the UEFA Champions League this season.
Ferdinand was asked to name the main Champions League contenders for this season after Liverpool became the first Premier League side to win all six of their Champions League group games on Tuesday night.
Recall that Liverpool defeated AC Milan 2-1 at San Siro last night, thanks to Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi’s goals.

But Ferdinand believes Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are the three favourites to win this season’s Champions League.
“I don’t see past the three English teams, Bayern might stake a claim, but they [Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool] are so powerful and have who I think are the three best managers,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.
“When you get to the later stages, you need that experience in the dugout.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea won the Champions League last season.
The Blues defeated Man City 1-0 in the final to win the Champions League.
