Superstar singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid discloses that he knew his album ‘Made In Lagos’ would be a massive success before it was released.
Wizkid who recently bagged Artist of The Year (Africa) at the Apple Music Awards, in his acceptance chat, illuminated on his record-breaking album.
According to him, he worked on it for three years and believed that it was a bit different from what he has previously been doing.

“I felt it coming. I would say I’m lying if I didn’t feel it coming because it took me three years to work on that album. So I felt like there was going to be a shift, but I didn’t know how it would come. Because I knew that it was kind of like a different… it wasn’t a different sound, but it was a more matured sound from what I used to make.

He also spoke on his admiration for the songstress, Tems and hinted at the success of ‘Essence.’
