Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger, is now the subject of a tussle between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

PSG have already met with the player’s agent, in a bid to beat the LaLiga giants to his signature.

Real Madrid have emerged as the favourites to land the 28-year-old defender on a free transfer next summer, with Los Blancos having held positive talks with the German.

Rudiger will be able to sign a pre-contract from January 1 with foreign clubs.

Bayern Munich and Manchester United are also monitoring his situation at Stamford Bridge, as he is involved with a contract standoff with Chelsea.

Chelsea’s negotiations with Rudiger have stalled in recent months, with the defender demanding a new wage of £200,000 per week from his current £90,000-per-week salary.

He is understood to have turned down an offer of £140,000 per week already.
