Anaedoonline.ng understands that Hazard participation and performance has dwindled in Spain since he departed Chelsea in 2019 for an initial fee of £88 million.

The player is understood to have suffered a series of injuries and this has affected his form.

Meanwhile, Gabon has sent Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back to Arsenal for medical examinations after he was diagnosed with heart lesions.

The 32-year-old had recently tested positive for COVID-19 but has returned to training since and felt healthy. Arsenal is still waiting for confirmation from the Gabon Football Federation.
