Nigerians have reacted to the affirmation of the first degree of the Presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu, by the Chicago State University.
Anaedoonline.ng earlier reported that the foreign institution confirmed that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) attended the University between 1977 and 1979.
It was gathered that the former governor was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Administration with honours and a major in Accounting.
Chicago University Reacts Over Claim Tinubu Graduated From Their School
The person in charge of official transcript request, enrolment and degree verification at the Office of the Registrar in the institution, Beverly Poindexter disclosed this in an email response to Punch on Tuesday.
Also attached to Tinubu’s form CF004 submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during his re-election bid in 2003 was a commendation letter from CSU recognising his performance and “high scholastic achievement”.
The academic qualification of Tinubu has raised questions since he declared his intention to run in the 2023 Presidential election.
However, some Nigerians have taken to social media to give different reactions to the affirmation of Tinubu’s academic qualifications.
