A former governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari alongside Senator Kabiru Marafa have met with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Senate President Bukola Saraki.
Anaedoonline.ng reports that the meeting between the political heavyweights was held on Thursday night at Saraki’s Maitama, Abuja, residence.
According to sources who spoke to Newsmen, the meeting may be connected with the rumoured defection plan of the two APC chieftains.

Recall that the two APC chieftinas had a few weeks back meet with Saraki in what Marafa described as a social interaction.
Anaedoonline.ng reports that Yari and Marafa presently lead two different factions in the Zamfara Chapter of the APC, opposed to that of Governor Bello Matawalle.
Yari and Marafa have been having a running battle with the national leadership of the APC in recent times.
The spat between the duo and the leadership of the APC is believed to have been triggered by the decision of the APC to hand over the party structure in Zamfara to Governor Bello Matawalle.
