Some state governors have been accused of being Muslim-haters by the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC).

Darius Ishaku of Taraba State, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, and Seyi Makinde of Oyo State were named by MURIC, an Islamic human rights group, as haters of Muslims in Nigeria.

The governors were cautioned by the organisation not to run for any federal position because they had been banned.

Professor Ishaq Akintola, the Director of MURIC, made the comment while saying that the organization had proof of Ishaku dismissing Muslim employees without due process and replacing them with Christians.

The Taraba State Governor has been accused by MURIC of marginalizing Muslims in the state.

It labeled Ishaku’s alleged reckless violation of Muslims’ Allah-given fundamental rights in his state as legendary.

Ishaku, according to the organization, is projecting a false public image as a governor who encourages peaceful and cordial coexistence between Christians and Muslims in the state.

“We have solid proof that Governor Darius Ishaku has been exploiting his office to put Muslims at a disadvantage through many administrative machinations and mishaps,” according to Akintola’s statement.

“The governor recently stated that the Taraba Muslim Council was fanning religious animosity by accusing him of marginalizing Muslims in the state, although this is far from the reality. The governor is only attempting to hide his true intentions. However, the wind has blown, and we have seen the hen’s ruff.

“MURIC’s advise to governors who despise Muslims, such as Ishaku, Ortom, Wike, and Seyi Makinde, is to avoid running for any federal post.”
