Senator Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment, has praised President Muhammadu Buhari for preventing the country from becoming like Venezuela, which is beset by political instability and economic disaster.

Buhari’s leadership characteristics, according to Ngige, have also prevented Nigerians from becoming refugees in neighboring countries such as Niger, Benin Republic, and Cameroon.

According to Ngige, President Buhari designated agriculture the administration’s first trademark initiative, ensuring food security for Nigerians.

“He may not be able to distinguish himself in all areas, but he should be able to distinguish himself in many.”
He must also have the fortitude to carry out difficult judgments. Some of the visions will perish or will not be executed for the welfare of humanity if you do not act fearlessly.

“As a result, we were caught off guard when oil prices plummeted and security concerns surfaced, impeding output. As a result, we entered a recession. COVID-19 drove us into a second recession later on. We’re not out of the woods yet.

“We give thanks to God. I am a member of the government. I am confident that if we did not have a strong leader like President Muhammadu Bihari, Nigeria’s experience would have been similar to Venezuela’s.
