DOUBLE JEOPARDY FOR A HIGHWAY SENATOR – PART 1.

When outgoing senator, Ifeanyi Ubah (Senator Highway) indicated interest in running for governor of Anambra State in 2021, He visited His most reliable destiny helper, Chief (Dr.) Cletus Mmadubugwu Ibeto basking in self confidence in a quest to seek the only endorsement He needed to be governor.

He called Himself the Commander-In-Chief of Anambra Youth and Pillar of Sports. He called Himself the husband of all Anambra widows. He swore that Ndi Anambra needed nobody but Him. He said no one else stood a chance but Him and that notwithstanding His two most prestigious titles of “Grand Commander of Debtors of Nigeria” and “Life Patron of Abandoned Projects”, He will defeat others hands down.

The point to note here is that no significant human being gave outgoing senator, Ifeanyi Ubah a chance to survive in the political terrain of Anambra State. Like a leper, no one wanted to have dealings with Him even though He was ready to meet any condition in exchange for money.

Chief (Dr.) Cletus Mmadubugwu Ibeto was His only rock of refuge.

The going was good until sources from major Nigerian banks indicated that over time, Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah had attained perfection in cloning sensitive documents. The sources tendered evidence to prove that for every asset the outgoing senator has; He would clone the original title into as much as 6 different versions – meaning that for every house He owned, He had up to 6 “original” titles hence He could pledge one asset as collateral to 6 different creditors for 6 different loans while retaining the original copy.

In the case of the house He occupies in Abuja which He shows off to the world; He has refused to pay up the over 70% balance He owes the owner. It was at the point of staking the same property as collateral with cloned title documents for a US$4M dollars 2021 election loan that the identity of the actual owner manifested.

Chief (Dr.) Cletus Mmadubugwu Ibeto commissioned a law firm to conduct a search and verify if ownership of the property is unencumbered. The report issued by government authorities was damning, the highway senator isn’t the owner of the house.

As a clever pussycat, outgoing senator Ifeanyi Ubah relocated to Enugu State to establish contact with the lawyer handling the search; begging and begging that the lawyer falsifies the report and mislead Chief (Dr.) Cletus Mmadubugwu Ibeto to the effect that the documents are legitimate and that the house is His property with a promise that when the US$4M loan is released to Him by Chief (Dr.) Cletus Mmadubugwu Ibeto, He will pay the law firm a 5% commission for playing along with Him to defraud His only benefactor.

All His pleas fell on deaf ears as the lawyer insisted that Chief (Dr.) Cletus Mmadubugwu Ibeto; having acquired and traded over 1,000 properties globally is a guru in detecting fake documents or reports and where necessary, is capable of hiring forensic investigators for second level verification to ascertain the authenticity of any document paraded before Him. He shunned the highway senator and rejected His bribe.

So desperate was He that He showed up in Enugu uninvited to a funeral in the family of the lawyer with intent to further pressure and induce a man of character into soiling His name only to meet the full entourage of Chief (Dr.) Cletus Mmadubugwu Ibeto present at the venue with backing from a crack team from the DSS. Head bowed in disgrace like a King Nebuchadnezzar, He left the location in shock and shame.

The property in question is “His House” on 9B, Katsina Ala Street, Maitama, Abuja . The initial deposit out of the asking price of N3B was paid shortly after issues of non remittance of funds and missing oil consignments happened between Him, Access Bank and Coscharis. We dare Him to prove this to be a lie or prove that He owns the Abuja house. He robbed Peter to pay Paul. This is the character who wanted to be Anambra governor.

From Nkwo Nnewi To The World; The Rise and Rise of Ibeto

All Ndi Nnewi are hereby put on high alert over that property.

Presently, some of His in-laws avoid Him like an Ebola patient because of pending issues related to their assets appropriated by Him without tangible compensation by way of promises made in view of settlement yet not fulfilled. Going to court will be a multidimensional scandal so those affected have chosen to absorb their shock, count their losses, lick their wounds and be quiet.

Having just emerged from what was a mentally devastating initial attempt to be senator, Chief (Dr.) Cletus Mmadubugwu Ibeto assured the outgoing senator, Ifeanyi Ubah that He will rally Anambra South to make Him senator on compassionate grounds because at that material time, the outgoing senator was a shadow of His own salvage value – broken, distraught, shaken, miserable, uncoordinated and a pity to behold.

Remembering His attempt to commit suicide when quizzed in the head office of Access Bank by a team of bankers led by now MD Herbert Wigwe, Chief (Dr.) Cletus Mmadubugwu Ibeto figured out that the best rehabilitation and life support to offer was to allow Him be senator as quickly as possible.

To achieve this, Chief (Dr.) Cletus Mmadubugwu Ibeto single handedly raised almost half a billion naira in cash and stood as surety to other Ndi Nnewi to provide the rest of the funds. He also stood should to shoulder to the DSS, Army, Mobile Police and other instruments of the federal government as means of rolling back the rampaging external forces that were determined to extinguish the outgoing senator.

He ignored the warnings of prominent Ndi Anambra South especially Dr. Emma Bishop Okonkwo, Dr. Innocent Chukwuma and ABC Orjiakor all of whom advised Him to exercise caution and ensured Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah became senator.

Now that times have changed, outgoing senator, Ifeanyi Ubah must quickly wake up to His new reality by first undergoing therapy on how to manage life after political retirement because it is unavoidable.

His current travails are self inflicted and Chief (Dr.) Cletus Mmadubugwu Ibeto only has three advises for Him – make peace with God; plan for life out of political office and reach out to those He stole from for genuine reconciliation and restitution.
