The All Progressive Congress (APC) has denounced what it calls “sponsored media stories” about a fictitious leadership shift in the party’s caretaker and extraordinary convention planning committee (CECPC).
The media story is bogus news, according to a press release signed and delivered to newsmen in Gusau, the state capital, by John Akpanudoedehe, the national caretaker and emergency convention committee.

“The APC is a rule-based progressive political party. “Leadership changes aren’t disclosed by’sources’ through media name-dropping,” he continued.
“We urge our teeming supporters, members and indeed the general public to remain calm and support the Governor Mai Mala Buni-led APC CECPC conduct a rancour-free and credible National Convention deserving of our great party”
