Nigerians React As Benin Republic Govt Release Sunday Igboho From Detention

The Benin Republic Government’s release of Yoruba Nation activist Sunday ‘Igboho’ Adeyemo has sparked outrage online.

Maxwell Adeleye, a spokesman for the Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, told Anaedoonline.ng that the Yoruba activist was freed from incarceration on Monday.

Professors Banji Akintoye and Wale Adeniran, leaders of the Yoruba Self-determination group, were given Igboho, according to Adeleye.

According to him, Akintoye praised Ighoho’s liberation as a victory of truth over evil in Yorubaland.
