Anaedoonline.ng is providing further update on an initial exclusive post where a member of the building committee anonymously spoke to Anaedoonline.
In the said post The member of the building committee made some ascertions “that Some prominent Catholics and even the Chairman of the Building Committee, Chief Ajuju Uzodike told the Bishop that he was not comfortable with the move, and advised the Bishop against accepting the offer, but the Bishop felt that Ifeanyi Ubah was capable of doing that, and gave express approval for the demolition of the Cathedral”
In a brief chat with Anaedoonline.ng, Chief Ajulu Uzodike has clarified his position on the said matter and since debunked the ascertion of the building committee member that spoke anonymously to us.
Chief Uzodike said emphatically that He encouraged the then Bishop of Nnewi diocese to accept the offer of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah then before he changes his mind.
Chief Uzodike made it clear that his interest is to see the Cathedral completed and he is not interested in the ongoing issues in the media.
