Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known locally as Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba campaigner, has cautioned against another world war.
He talked in a first video that appeared after he was released by the Government of the Republic of Benin on Monday after 231 days in custody.
The persecuted Yoruba activist was seen in the video addressing the continuing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

“Let us pray that the Ukraine issue does not escalate into a third global war,” he remarked.
May God spare us from seeing world wars.”
Igboho, who was detained in Cotonou, Benin’s capital, on July 2, 2021, on suspicion of “criminal association,” was freed on Monday to attend to his health.
According to his lawyer, the pioneer of Oduduwa republic will not be allowed back to Nigeria until the completion of his case.
