If the Buhari-led government murders the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, a new general would take over the Biafra movement, according to Nollywood actress Rita Edochie.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the seasoned actress announced the news on Monday via her Instagram account.
While replying to a group of Biafra supporters who organized a rally in London against the arrest and custody of Nnamdi Kanu, the renowned actress, who has never concealed her sympathy for the separatist cause, said that if they murder one general, another will rise up.

She also questioned the Buhari-led government on why it has refused to free the separatist leader Mazi Nnamdi, so that ndi igbo can be free too.
Sharing the video of the protest on her IG, she wrote; “KILL A GENERAL AND ANOTHER GENERAL COMES UP SO WHY NOT FREE MAZI NNAMDI OKWU KANU SO THAT EVERYONE CAN BE FREE PARTICULARLY ANI IGBO”
However, the Kenyan government claims it does not have Nnamdi Kanu’s departure records following his arrival on May 12, 2021.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to the incarcerated leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and Kanunta Kanu, the Kanu’s younger brother, announced the announcement in a statement.

According to the statement, Kenyan officials had submitted a paper in court claiming that the Nigerian government had purportedly removed the IPOB leader from the county.
It went on to say that the evidence presented by the Kenyan government had elevated Kanu’s alleged kidnapping from the country to a more severe crime, with harsh penalties awaiting all those involved.
