As he prepares to leave office on Thursday, Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, gave a farewell message to the people of Anambra.

Obiano, who also spoke about his accomplishments over the previous eight years, expressed confidence in his performance in the state.

Obiano’s successes include his triumph in the educational sector, which resulted in students from Regina Pacis Secondary School in Onitsha winning first place in the Technovation competition in Silicon Valley, USA, defeating students from the United States, China, and other African nations.

“When I first took office as governor in 2014, I read a speech to you vowing to lead the state to new heights,” he remarked.

“Today, I can tell you that I’ve touched a dream, and I’m leaving history to be the judge, and I’m confident I’ll be treated well.”

Meanwhile, as Prof Chukwuma Soludo prepares to take the oath of office on Thursday, Obiano took him on a tour of Government House on Tuesday evening, familiarizing him with the different offices.
