Uche Nwosu, a former governorship candidate in Imo State, said on Tuesday that he has forgiven those who kidnapped him during a memorial ceremony for his late mother, Jamaimah Nwosu.

Remember that last year, the Nwosu was kidnapped from St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Eziama-Obaire, Nkwerre Local Government Area, Imo State.

Nwosu, a former Chief of Staff to Rochas Okorocha, advised his kidnappers to repent and seek forgiveness from God.

“I have forgiven all those who kidnapped and dehumanized me during my mother’s burial,” he added. Just as Jesus Christ forgave those who crucified him, the Bible teaches us to forgive. I have forgiven them as well, but they must pray and seek forgiveness from God.”

Nwosu, who blamed the party’s problem on the derailment of the party’s Caretaker Committee, led by Mai Mala Buni, urged President Muhammadu Buhari to step in.

He went on to say that prior governors’ and ministers’ delegations to address the party’s problem had failed to produce results.

Buni’s committee, according to Nwosu, instead of reaching out to people who founded APC, it chose to camp out with a chosen few.
