Following the incident between Obiano’s wife, Ebelechukwu, and Bianca Ojukwu, the Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo, apologized to the people of Anambra State and visitors at his inauguration on Thursday.

Joe Anatune, Soludo’s communications aide, claimed in a statement issued on Thursday that the inaugural breach was caused by inappropriate communication stemming from a personal dispute between the two persons involved.

He stated that the altercation occurred when Ebelechukwu approached Ojukwu and exchanged some remarks, which resulted in the altercation.

According to Soludo, steps are being taken to end their differences and restore the parties to their previous relationship.

“Anambra State has over the years been known for a huge stock of social harmony, and the stock will increase substantially in the years ahead as part of the concerted effort to accelerate the state’s development.”

Anaedoonline.ng had earlier reported that the duo clashed at the swearing-in on Thursday after Obiano’s wife confronted Bianca, accusing her of not wanting the husband to be Governor while allegedly calling her a bitch.

A further report had it Ebelechukwu was later taken away and shortly after her husband left the venue.
