Obiozor’s Home Attack: Uzodinma Threatens Attackers Of Ohanaeze Ndigbo President’s Home

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma has promised to track down the assailants who broke into the country residence of Ohanaeze Ndigbo President-General Prof. George Obiozor.

Unknown gunmen burned down the residence of the former Nigerian Ambassador to the United States in Awo-Omanma, Oru East Local Government Area of the state, according to Anadoonline.ng.

The gunmen arrived in trucks and razed the Ohanaeze Ndigbo leader’s residence using Explosives Ordinance Disposals.

When the shooters stormed his property, the former ambassador was not at home.

Governor Uzodinma, in a statement, condemned the attack on the Igbo leader’s country house, calling it cowardly and desperate

The governor said his government will hunt the perpetrators down and make them face the full weight of the law.

Uzodinma, however, sympathised with the Ohanaeze Ndigbo President over the attack on his country home.

“The time of those who unleash this kind of mayhem in the state is over. We shall hunt them down to face the full weight of the law,” he said.
